History of Katonah Poetry Series 

In its 42 year history, the Katonah Poetry Series co-sponsored by Katonah Village Library has attracted many reknown national and international poets. US Poet Laureate, Billy Collins directed the Series from 1991-2008. His presence enhanced the reputation of the Series in both the literary world and the Tri-State area. * 

Currently, the Series is directed by Leisha Douglas Ph.D. with the help of a poets' advisory board comprised of Sophie Cabot Black, Billy Collins and Vijay Seshadri.
