Co-director, Billy Collins, has published nine collections of poetry including Questions about Angels, the Art of Drowning
and Picnic, Lightening. In the fall of 2002, Random House published his latest poetry collection, Nine Horses and in 2003,
Poetry 180:A turning Back to Poetry, an anthology of poems he selected and introduced. He was United States Poet Laureate
in 2001-2003 and New York State Poet Laureate 2004-6. Until recently, he was Distuinguished Professor of English at Lehman
College, City University of New York.
Co-director, Leisha Douglas, is a full time psychotherapist in practice
in NYC and Katonah, NY. Her poetry has been published in The Cortland Review, Ginbender Poetry Review and The Writer. She
is also Media Editor for The Hakomi Forum.
Marlene Gallagher, artist and yoga teacher, serves as the Executive
Assistant for the Series.
